I really like this. It gives the building a look of such resiliency. I bet it would look really really wonderful to shoot from there after the fence had been freshly painted or something.
Don't get me wrong. I am not dissing you for it. Heaven knows it seems like I can't see something inspiring that would make a picture that is not surrounded by ugly-looking garbage cans nowadays.
I think your effort to get the sun behind that steeple is really really excellent. Could you stand to look through the eyepiece at the corona like that? I'll bet it was really bright.
